Amethyst.png Amethyst A type of quartz, violet in color. Very resistant to acid, but heating it will change its color to orange. It's found mainly in geodesic form in Argentina, Germany, Brazil, and many other countries.
Citrine.png Citrine Like amethyst, citrine is also a quartz, but yellow in color. It's very rare, and so heated amethyst usually takes its place.
Diamond.png Diamond Diamond is renowned for its superlative physical qualities, most of which are due to the strong covalent bonding of its atoms. Diamond has the highest hardness and thermal conductivity of any bulk material.
Lapis Lazuli.png Lapis Lazuli A relatively rare, semi-precious stone prized since antiquity for its intense blue color. Lapis Lazuli has been mined in Afghanistan since the 3rd millenium BC.
Emerald.png Emerald Emerald is the green gem that delights the eyes. Found mainly in Colombia, this incredible gem is also synthetically produced in laboratories.
Zircon.png Zircon Zircon is typically produced at extremely high temperatures, i.e. when rock crystallizes. Some zircones contain uranium, which sees their properties continuously modified due to internal radiation.
Obsidian.png Obsidian Obsidian, sometimes called volcanic glass, is a rock born of the rapid cooling of lava. In The Sandbox, obsidian is a beautiful gem that can be used to beautify any creation.
Ruby.png Ruby Ruby is a pink to blood-red gemstone. It's considered one of the four precious stones, along with sapphire, emerald and diamond.
Sapphire.png Sapphire Sapphire is a blue gemstone that is not easily eroded, thanks to its considerable hardness. Commonly used for jewelry, it is also favored in infrared applications, scientific instruments, high durability windows, and more.
Aluminite.png Aluminite A rare alien gem that stores light as energy for only two seconds and produces light in the dark for around 10 seconds. The Spaceman gathers Aluminite for human research.

Uranium Uranium is a powerful, dangerous energy source. When activated with the Citrine laser, it will emit radiation.
MutaGem.png MutaGem This mysterious Gem interacts with all living beings, although most of the time, not in a positive way. It usually warps them into mindless Aberrations that hate all life and spit acid all the time in order to kill anything that approaches them. However, in some cases, it makes Giant Monsters. When a MutaGem touches a Crocodile, Haijira is born. In contact with a CrocoBot, it produces a MechaRex. When it meets an Earthworm, it turns it into a DoomGrub. The MutaGem is consumed every time it makes a mutation, but can also be used to make a Mutation Beam, in which case it's not consumed.
